Receptors and Ligands

This site is devoted to the prevention of illness and the improvement of exercise performance.

I'ts philosophy is based on cell membrane receptors and the molecules they interact with.

These molecules are known as ligands.

Ligands originate as foods, or drugs or dietary supplements. 

Good foods and wisely chosen supplements stimulate the body's healing system.

Exercise forces the creation of collateral blood supplies while inactivity promotes the deposition of plaque in blood vessels.
